Is there something wrong in this photo?
Wait a minute, let me get into it.
I shot it when I went to my friend’s house a couple of months ago. She comes from Korea, a very nice person and a little bit sensitivity. Her house is always amazing clean no matter when I come.
That day we were very happy to meet each other again after almost two months. We talked a lot. She said everything was going well and she liked a lot what she was doing, and I talked about some experiences in my life. Later she invited me to have a lunch , and I requested to cook together.
I noticed a new coffee machine on the table when I came into the kitchen.
” You bought it? But you don’t like to drink coffee?” I said.
“Uh, actually I just bought it yesterday, because it is a good quality and very cheap, I want to bring it to my mother, she will like it. You know I can’t drink coffee, I would not sleep all night.” she said.
“Yes, I know, I never see you drink coffee.” I smiled.
The bright sunshine came through the window while we were cooking, everything looked so beautiful. Then I said: “Maybe we could make a photo together.” She agreed with me. So I took my camera and shot some photos in the kitchen. I left from her house after lunch and we hoped to see each other soon.
But I didn’t see her again after that time. Once I wrote an email to ask her to have a drink together. She replied that she was so busy working and she would contact me when she finished it.
Now I notice this photo while looking back at my pictures. It is an old plug, otherwise it would be very white color. To see it carefully, there are a lot of dirty marks on the plug. Zoom in this picture and see more clearly. The color of the dirty marks is brown, a little bit clarity, like water drops. It probably comes from tea or coffee or some soft drink, but doesn’t come from oil or cooking food, I have seen my plugs in my room. But she often made tea with a very easy way in her sitting room, first put some tea leaves in the teapot and then pour the boiling water into it. It is far away from this plug. So the tea can not splash water on it. And other soft drinks are often consumed immediately. I remembered that only the coffee machine was connected with this plug. Other machines were all ordered in different places in her kitchen. These marks probably come from the coffee when it was boiling or poured it into a cup. This is always the case when I make coffee. But she said she just bought that coffee machine and she never drank coffee because she would not sleep. Is it true?
Some days ago I met her classmate at a party. He said that she was already in her hometown now, because her mother was very sick, so she had asked permission to leave a month for Korea.
It is not difficult to keep that coffee machine looks like a new one for her, but this plug seems to be telling me something, something that can not easily be understood by others. It can only be revealed by herself.
